I love this quote because it is so inspirational. I really encourage myself and others to never give up on anything you do and this quote really supports that. In my eyes this quote is saying that you should always strive for farther than you plan to go cause then if you fail a little then you can always end up where you originally wanted. If you don’t end up where you originally wanted, you are still in a place to boost you up and help you get to where you need to be. This quote is also says how if you do fail there is always someone or something that you can fall back on. I love this quote because it can be related to life in many ways and also to many situation in life. I think everyone can relate to this quote in one way or another whether it is for advice on how to succeed or if it is for encouragement on never giving up. This quote is most definitely words for everyone to live by.

Fast Fifteen: Building Extra Credit

I want a lot out of life, but the two main things I want out of it is success and happiness. If I am successful it should lead me to happiness. When I say that I want success out of life I am talking about having a good job that I am good at. My job would be a decent paying job that would give me enough money for me to easily support me and my family. I would be able to buy the necessary items along with some extra items for pleasure. When I say happiness, I am talking about several things including  having a good size house for my family to live in. I would want to have a happy marriage and kids. Loving my job also plays in the role of my happiness. I plan to get success, happiness, and a whole lot more out of my life!

In order to get what I want out of life I know that it is going to take a great amount of work. Wanted things are normally never just handed to you. They must be earned. In order to get a good job, I must continue to work very hard in school because that is very important and has a great effect on my future. My future most definitely depends on what I do now. I must do well this year in high school, and my senior year, in order for me to get into a great college. I want to go to a four year college so that I am able to get a job that I prefer after college. I have been working at a restaraunt for over a year now because I am saving up money to go to college. I have already started looking into colleges and their programs based on my interests. I must strive towards my goals and never give up, and when i reach my goals i must strive to keep improving on anything and everything I do.

If I do not get what I want out of life, my back up plan is simple. I know I must never give up on anything I do, and by that I mean if one thing doesn’t work out I must try something else. Life is all about trial and error and learning from mistakes and previous experience. If I dont reach my goals in life I will look at the bright side in everything and be thankful f0r what I do have. If I do not get the first job that I want I will work even harder looking for more job options and still continue to work hard at what I end up doing. In my opinion, you will always get something that you want as long as you believe, take risks, and never give up!

Fast Fifteen: 5 Things

There are many things that I would like to change about myself. The first thing that i would change about myself is my attitude towards school. I care about my grades, but i feel like I have been slacking off the past few weeks. The second thing I wish was different about myself is that I would try to look good every day for school. I feel like i should spend extra time each morning to do my hair so that I could look better for school. The next thing I would change about myself is improve with my soccer and field hockey skills so that I could stand out more to the team and to my coaches. I would also like to eat healthier than I have been this year. I could be eating more fruits and vegetables rather than junk food such as chips and cookies. The last thing that I want to change about myself is how much money i spend. I really need to cut down on my spending. I have been spending my money on unnecessary items such as the latest DVD or the latest songs on ITunes. I should be saving all of my money and be putting it aside in the bank so that I can buy a car by Summer 2010 because I have recently got my license. I think I should set goals for myself oand strive to change these few things about myslef.

Fast Fifteen: Sacrifices

The question that was really difficult for me to answer. What would make me want to sacrifice something important? I am not a risk taker, and so it would take a lot for me to give up something that is special or has value to me. A task such as giving another person an organ or blood would be very difficult for me just because of the thought of it. For a family member, I would most definitely take a risk because of the love that I have for them. I care so much about my family and they mean so much to me. I would put my family members first because i care about them and if I can help my relatives have a better or stronger life than me I would not hesitate to help them. Without even taking a breath i would offer to give them any help they needed and would do anything for them. If it was a person that I am not close to, or I didn’t know, i would really have to think about it before agreeing to help them or give them what they are in need of. My family means the world to me and is a big part of my life, so i would take as many risks as I must in order to help them.

One night I was watching TV and i saw this one report of a family that had made a huge sacrifice in their lives. The family consisted of a mother and father, a son, and a daughter. The daughter is 16 years old and had realized all the unnecessary objects that they contained within their house. The daughter thought of it as pointless and that it was not fair for those who barely have a roof under their heads. In order to make their daughter content, out of the goodness of their hearts they donated half of their belongings to charity. They also sold their nice sized house and bought a smaller one that was half the size or their original home. All of the excess money from selling their original house was also donated to those in need. Watching this on the TV, it gave me the chills to think of all that this good hearted family did for people that they did not even know. I fully support what they did for people in need, but I do not think that I could ever do that. It makes me feel good though that there are still people in this world that would do that because I know that if I was a person that did not have much it would mean everything to me if people donated things to help me out. I give a lot of credit to the family for doing all that they did.

Millions of people use them each and every day. One main use of a computer is the internet. People of all ages have a use for the internet one way or another. The invention of computers has made a quick and easy way to communicate. There are many forms of communication that a computer has to offer. The wonderful invention of the computer can only keep improving greatly over the years.

 Most people use the computer daily whether it is for recreational use or important work. Most teenagers today have an account on a social networking site which they visit almost every day. Many schools have students completing a great deal of work on computers. Today adults use computers for their jobs all of the time. Several businesses require people to work on computers for the majority, if not all, of the time. It is really important to have computer skills in this century because of how much they are used. Schools and businesses use them to store information and to complete projects. Although there are many uses for computers, most people use them just to access the internet.

  The internet is the most associated use of a computer because of all the possibilities it has. There are billions of sites on the internet with many different uses. Any topic imaginable can be researched on the internet. Business, schools, and individuals use the internet for researching many topics and ideas. Pictures and facts can be found on the internet and many files can be shared between people. There are also social networking sites including Facebook, Myspace, and Twitter to mention a few. Another helpful use of the internet is several people who do not like to shop are able to order items online and have them shipped right to their houses. Even though the internet is really useful, communication is another important use of a computer.

 Communication, which is essential to life, is made quick and easy by computers. Computers make it possible for people all around the world to communicate using computers. A few ways of communication by computers are instant messaging, emailing, video chatting, and social networking. Instant messaging is an easy and instant way to talk to friends, emailing is more proper than instant messaging but also is an easy way to communicate with people where messages can be saved. Video chatting is a fun and useful way to talk with friends especially from long distances. Social networking sites are used to share messages, pictures, and thoughts communicating with people from all over the world. The ease of communication, made possible by computers, adds to the demand of them. Without the wonderful technology of computers society would not be as complex as it is today.

 If computers were never invented, may things would have been impossible. Shows and movies would not have been able to be made and edited. Pictures and graphics would have never been able to be created without the tools of computers. Without the help of computers, it would be very difficult to organize information. Long distance friendships would also be very difficult without computers. A quick and easy way of file sharing wouldn’t be possible without the  internet. Without computers, technology would not have progressed over the years. Computers, a very helpful invention with several uses, are most definitely of much help to mankind who would not be able to live without this wonderful technological invention.

You Don’t Know What You Got ’til it’s Gone

Not many people realize all that they have and how lucky they are. Not many people are so grateful for their lives and their belongings, family and friends. I’ve realized I was one of those people that didn’t realize until I had some eye opening experiences. My parents are divorced, and last winter my father was out of the country for business. I arrived to his house one day to stay there for a few hours and got there to a huge surprise. I walked into the house to the smell of something burning and right away I called the fire department. When the fire department arrived, they searched for three hours straight and could not find the source of the smell. I then left, planning on coming back later to the house so that I could check up on it. I came back to a smoking house with fire alarms going off full blast. Eventually the fire fighters discovered it was the heater and thankfully that was the only object of my ruined. As the fire fighters were going in and out of my house with all of their different tools so much was going through my head. I was wondering if my house was going to burn down all the way, i was wondering if i would lose everything in their, i was wondering what i would do once this was all over. I was so worried and upset about everything because everything was in my hands since i couldn’t reach my dad by phone or any other way. As i watched everything happening I was thinking my life is over. The whole event felt like a dream as it was happening because i didn’t want to believe that it was true. I never thought something like this could ever happen to me. After going through this scary, eye opening experience, I appreciate everything I have so much more than before. I realize how much i really have and how easy i actually have it. This event is something no one would ever want to have to go through and when they door it’s a moment of realization; it’s a lesson and a time where you just stop and say thank you for everything you have.

What Traits Do You Prefer For Love??

The traits of an ideal and loving relationship i think really depend on the people in the relationship. Some common traits normally important for people in relationships include trustworthiness, care, agreements, fun, and interest. The reason people are in relationships are normally because they are interested in their partner, and it is fun for them. One main important trait that i believe every relationship is in need of is trustworthiness. if you can’t trust the person you love then you can’t really love them. Without trustworthiness, a relationship would fall apart so easily and quickly. Having agreements with your partner goes along with trustworthiness because if you trust the person then you obviously have agreements with them. Having an agreement with someone means that you trust their words that they will stick by the agreements you have with them. Can you love without trust? Can you love without caring? Can you love without interest? What do you prefer?
